In order to help the community, New Delhi based Delhi Health Care Cooperative Society has opened a chemist shop at the prime location in Shahdara last week. The shop will run on the principle of ‘No Profit, No Loss’.
The inauguration was done by Dr A R Srinath, Director, National Cooperative Union of India in the presence of several eminent dignitaries, who had been invited as guests.
Talking to Indian Cooperative, Gajendra Singh Sharan, President of Delhi Health Care Cooperative Society said, “The objective of opening the shop is to provide medicine and other health related activities to the community at the cheaper rate of interest. Our rates will be reasonable. We are also planning to open such shops in other parts of the state”, he added.
Certificates and medals were distributed among the people who took part in the drawing competition on the occasion. The competition was sponsored by NCUI.
