PTI reports the Delhi High Court has stopped a company from using ‘Amul’ on its kitchenware products as it bears a striking resemblance to the trademark of the Gujarat dairy cooperative.
The court said the trademark used by the company is not registered and is therefore in violation of the law.
”Prima facie, any use of the word ‘Amul’ as a trademark by any other entity may tantamount to infringement,” the court said.
