With a view to strengthening DTC’s financial situation, Delhi State Transport Authority has given the go ahead to the idea of permitting Amul and other cooperative organizations to have their stalls on the premises of Delhi Transport Corporation, reports PTI.
A source says cooperatives can use the DTC space for selling juice, milk and other products. Stalls will be given on rental basis.
The STA Board has asked the DTC’s chief managing director to allot the space to cooperative bodies. Stalls can be installed in 40 DTC depots across the capital city, said an official.
