Delhi Cooperative Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam has been named again as a AAP candidate for Delhi Legislative Assembly Election 2020, slated for February.
It bears recall that several sitting Aam Adami Party MLAs failed to get a ticket and Gautam is said to be lucky in that sense. His constituency also remains the same- Seemapuri.
Though, Gautam has failed to resolve several issues related to the cooperative Sector in his tenure which includes amending the Delhi Cooperative Act, recovery of loans through registrar and others, his strong hold in Seemapuri area is said to have clinched the issue in his favour.
In the last election, Seemapuri seat was won by Gautam by 79,777 votes while Karamvir of BJP was the runner up.
