Delhi based Jamia Urban Co-op Bank launches IMPS

Delhi-based Jamia Urban Cooperative Bank launched the IMPS service for its customers on the occasion of Founder’s Day i.e. on 10th January 2021 and paid tribute to the founder of the bank Late Mirza Faridul Hasan Beg on his 86th birth anniversary.

The news was shared by the bank Chairman M.Q.H.Beg with the Indian Cooperative correspondent on the phone. “Today on the occasion of Founder’s Day, we have launched the IMPS services to enable its customers to carry out banking transactions digitally, on a single platform. At present, it is running on a trial basis for 15 days and afterward, it will be made available publically to the customers”, said Beg on the phone.

“With this, our valuable customers will be able to transfer money from their accounts to any other account by using their mobile phone. The app will be available on both the platform Android and IOS”, he added.

Jamia Cooperative Bank is one of the leading banks of Delhi and is having a business mix of more than 350 crore. The bank earned a net profit of Rs 2.50 crore in last financial year i.e. 2020-21.
