Media reports quote Karnataka Cooperation Minister saying the District Credit Cooperative (DCC) Banks and Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) have disbursed impressive loans to farmers.
Minister for Cooperation S T Somashekhar said that 21 District Credit Cooperative (DCC) Banks and Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) in the state have disbursed Rs 16,500 crore loans at zero percent interest.
Somashekhar is quoted saying more than 22 lakh farmers of the state have benefited from DCCBs and PACS so far.
