Badal Patralekh, the Minister for Agriculture in the Jharkhand govt has said that one hundred smart villages will be built in the State on the recommendation of MLAs and MPs.
Badal said cooperatives would be formed at large scale in the state to scale up the development framework.
A campaign will be launched to make one person from each family an active member in LAMPS and PACS which were given a financial assistance of Rs.2 lakh last year, the daily Pioneer quoted Badal.
“A cooperative would be formed for milk and a 50 per cent amount would be provided to the cooperative as a grant. The dairy plants at Palamu Sahibganj and Deoghar’s Sarath are almost ready, they will be commissioned soon,” said Badal.
