According to media reports, Chief Secretary, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta recently held a meeting with officials to discuss the identification and formation of PACS across the UT.
The meeting was attended by UT’s top functionaries including those from Nabard and cooperatives.
During the meeting, the chief secretary emphasised upon holding regular UT level and District Level Cooperative Development Committee Meetings. He asked for complete adoption of model bye laws for all the PACS if not already done.
