According to HT reports, a court in Mehsana, Gujarat has ordered former Gujarat minister Vipul Chaudhary and 14 others to be released on bail who were involved in a cheating case that caused Dudhsagar dairy to lose Rs 22.5 crore.
Vopul Chaudhary and 14 others had been sentenced to jail for seven years due to their involvement in the fraud.
They had been convicted for their controversial decision to send fodder to neighbouring Maharashtra.
Vipul Chaudhary was Dudhsagar Dairy’s chairman between 2005 and 2016.
