Cosmos Co-operative Bank has received Special Award for effective Crisis Management from Banking Frontier. Cosmos Bank Chairman, C.A. Milind Kale received the award in presence of Vishwavir Das, Executive Director, Reserve Bank of India & Ex. Chief General Manager P.K. Arora.
The awards ceremony for ‘Frontiers in Co-operative Banking Awards 2019’ was held recently in Goa.
Last year, after the unprecedented cyber-attack incident, within a very short period, Cosmos Bank overcame this disastrous event and made notable increase in business in the following months.
The adversity of cyber-attack on Cosmos Bank was a challenge on IT Infrastructure and Technology of the entire banking industry. It would have had long term effect on the entire co-operative sector if the crisis would not have been dealt with appropriately.
Cosmos Bank was felicitated and applauded during this program for its prompt and effective Crisis Management during this significant period.
