The Urban Cooperative Banks of Pune have decided to offer medical equipment for the treatment of corona patients in Pune district.
Sharing the news, the Pune Urban Cooperative Banks Association Chairman Subhash Mohite said, “UCBs in Pune district will help the government with medical equipment like special dresses and masks for the people engaged in the healthcare system.
While discussing the coronavirus situation with the authorities, the banks showed their willingness to make their contributions.
Meanwhile, four new cases were reported this morning, taking the total number of coronavirus patients in Maharashtra to 106. The most urbanized state in India is also the worst hit by the coronavirus pandemic. The number of coronavirus cases across the state had jumped from 64 to 101 in a span of 72 hours.
