Several cooperators greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. While some tweeted; others held social events to mark the day on Saturday. Still others sent mails to Indian Cooperative to express their wishes for the Prime Minister.
One of the first not to miss the occasion IFFCO MD Dr US Awasthi greeted the Prime Minister through a tweet. His tweet read “Heartiest #Happy Birthday to our PM @narendramodi. Visionary showing path of growth & devp. God bless you with good health. #Happy Bday PM Modi.”
In a brief massage NCUI President Chandra Pal Singh Yadav said” Cooperative sector looks up to the Prime Minister with great hope; may God give him a long life! Indian cooperative movement wishes him on his birthday.”
In Raipur cooperators honoured senior citizens by offering them shawls and basket of fruits on the day. Ramesh Modi a social activist graced the occasion when several notable personalities including Ashok Bajaj.and Ramesh Modi recounted PM’s love for the downtrodden sections of society.
Modi took blessings of his mother Hirabai by visiting her at the residence of his brother Pankaj Modi in Gandhinagar. The Prime Minister spent around 25 minutes with his 97-year-old mother, reports PTI.
Several other cooperators including Ashok Thakur of Nafed took to social media to wish the Prime Minister.
Born on September 17, 1950, Modi turned 66 on Saturday. He also spent the day with tribal and divyangs (differently abled).
Some of his fans from Uttar Pradesh presented him with Modi Chalisa- a parody of Hanuman Chalisa on his birthday.
