Biscomaun Chairman and an ace co-operator Dr Sunil Kumar Singh took oath as a member of the Legislative Council on Wednesday.
Bihar Legislative Council acting Chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh administered the oath at a function held at Vidhan Bhawan in Bihar.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and other ministers were present on the occasion.
Besides Sunil, other eight newly elected MLCs also took oath on the occasion. The newly-elected MLCs are Ghulam Ghaus, Kumud Verma and Bhishm Sahni JD(U), Mohd Farooq, Chandrabali Singh Chandravanshi and Sunil Kumar Singh (RJD), Sanjay Mayukh and Samrat Chaudhary (BJP) and Samir Kumar Singh (Congress),
In the view of the Corona crisis, the swearing-in ceremony was organized on a small scale. Readers would recall that these nine members were declared elected unopposed on 29th June.
