Cooperative Protection Day will soon be observed in Kerala when 67 lakh houses would be visited by cooperative activists and cooperative sector employees, reports Indian Express.
The cooperative banks working under Banking Regulation (BR) Act and those banks which comply with KYC norms will participate in the campaign.
Meanwhile, the State Government has made it clear that all the Primary Agricultural Cooperative credit Societies (PACS) would comply with the KYC norms and allow the Income Tax officials to conduct inspection to identify sources of black money parked in such banks.
