The Cooperative Bank of India Ltd. (COBI) has initiated capacity-building programmes for cooperative organizations and institutions. As part of this initiative, a training programme on Cooperative Management & IT Applications was conducted for NAFED officials.
Inaugurating the programme, Deepak Agarwal, IAS, Managing Director, NAFED, emphasized the significance of training in enhancing employee performance. He highlighted that cooperative principles foster better cohesion among employees and management, which is vital for organizational success.
A total of 32 senior officials participated in the training, which covered key topics such as cooperative principles, IT applications for organizational growth, safe transactions, and provisions of the MSCS Act. Sessions were led by Dr. V.K. Dubey, Managing Director, COBI, and S.C. Pradhan, IT Expert & Principal, Cooperative Training Centre.
During the valedictory session, participants appreciated the programme and requested similar training for more NAFED personnel. A.K. Rath, HR Head, NAFED, reviewed the programme and thanked COBI for organizing a fruitful learning experience.
