Key Points from the National Cooperative Committee (NCC) – Meeting held on 14.01.2025 regarding the International Year of Cooperatives (IYC) 2025

All organizations must designate a Nodal Officer and assign responsibilities to the concerned stakeholders at the earliest.

All organizations are required to develop a comprehensive media plan for the widespread promotion of IYC 2025 events.

Efforts should be made to ensure maximum coverage and publicity of IYC 2025 events across both digital and print media, both within India and internationally.

Special emphasis should be placed on promoting the participation of youth and women in the cooperative sector

Monthly progress reports should be reviewed, with feedback provided to ensure timely achievement of IYC 2025 goals.

Use of commemorative postage stamp of IYC 2025 to enhance visibility.

All organizations are required to prepare an annual action plan for the extensive promotion of IV 2025 events.

A Nationwide tree plantation initiative, where each cooperative member (India has 30 crore cooperative members) will plant one tree, contributing to environmental sustainability.

One tree one member seems to be a good initiative
Every member or institution must be added as member to contribute for this movement
