Hundreds of farmers connected with cooperative bodies such as IFFCO, KRIBHCO and AMUL watched the live telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech during the dedication of more than 1.25 lakh PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendras in the country. The PM event was held at Sikar, Rajasthan.
IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi shared the details on social media. In Morena, which is the Lok Sabha constituency of Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, the farmers watched the live telecast of the PM event. On this occasion, NCUI’s GC member Arun Singh Tomar was also present.
Besides, in Mansa, Punjab, the local farmers associated with IFFCO gathered at the centre and watched the event live. At several places, the IFFCO installed big TV screens to make the event convenient for the farmers.
In one of the tweets, the IFFCO MD wrote, “A Kisan Goshthi was also organized at IFFCO’s Deoghar Center to watch the program of Honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi ji and around 500 farmers came to watch the program live”.
In his speech, PM Modi said, 1.25 PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendras (PMKSKs) will pave the way for the prosperity
of the farmers. These Kendras are being developed as one-stop shops for the needs of the farmers.
These centers will also provide advanced information on agriculture-related issues to the farmers. And these kendras will also provide timely information regarding agriculture schemes of the government.
The Prime Minister advised the farmers to keep visiting the kendras and benefit from the knowledge available there. The Prime Minister informed that an additional 1.75 lakh PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendras (PMKSKs) will be established before the end of the year.
