Media reports say the state govt will get a dialysis centre constructed by Uttar Pradesh Rajya Nirman Sahkari Sangh with a view to improving the healthcare facilities being offered by it.
The centre will be constructed on the vacant land in front of the isolation ward behind the Pilibhit District Men’s Hospital. The work will start after 20th December.
The dialysis centre will be constructed at a cost of Rs 59.22 lakh. 50 percent of the total amount has been made available to the executive organization by the government.
The Chief Minister had announced that the state govt will set up dialysis units in 14 districts of the state, including Pilibhit. There is no dialysis facility available in any of these districts in the state.
