The International Cooperative Day was celebrated across India with gusto and enthusiasm. Rajasthan also celebrated the day with great fervor.
Speaking on the occasion Rajasthan State Registrar Dr Neeraj K Pawan said a cooperative restaurant would soon be opened at Jodhpur. The Registrar called for promoting tourism and said cooperatives could be involved in this.
Pawan was addressing the conference in Sahakar Bhawan on the occasion of the 97th International Cooperative Day in Jaipur. He also said, “Cooperatives could provide education in remote areas through their network by opening coaching centres at low fees. Their efforts could make people independent.
