The Anti-Corruption wing of Assam Police recently arrested a Senior Assistant of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies from Khanapara in Guwahati, reports Northeast Now.
The accused Bidyadhar Das was caught red-handed while accepting bribes.
Das had taken a bribe from a complainant in exchange of processing their pension file.
Further investigation is underway.
