The District Cooperative Officer in Vishakhapatnam, AP has appointed Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies as inquiry officer to probe the alleged financial irregularities and misuse of power by members of the board of directors of the NAD Civil Employees Coop Credit Society, reports Hindu.
The probe was ordered on the basis of representation made by members and the inquiry report of Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Registrar has issued summons to president and other members of the credit society to be at the office of DCO.
Cooperators have welcomed the probe.
