Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has poured scorn on UDF cooperative banks for not joining the proposed Kerala Bank, reports New Indian Express.
The chief minister lambasted the dissenting banks while inaugurating the centenary building of Tripunithura People’s Urban Cooperative Bank.
The Kerala Bank will be formed through the amalgamation of 14 District Cooperative Banks.
The chief minister said the Kerala Bank will greatly strengthen the cooperative sector.
