J&K High Court has directed Registrar, Co-operative Societies to hold elections to elect the management of Citizens Cooperative Bank within two months, reports State Times News.
The court direction came in response to a bunch of petitions filed to seek directions for holding the election of the bank.
Among other things the court said keeping in mind the provision of law and the direction issued by the Division Bench of this Court, the Registrar Cooperative Societies is directed to hold elections forthwith.
This exercise shall be completed within a period of two months.
