The Pioneer reports despite the corona virus lock down, the Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Federation (Devbhog) has paid over Rs 10 crore to milk producing farmers in the state.
The Federation managed to collect average 95,000 litres of milk from farmers based in different parts of the state, MD of the Federation Narendra Dugga is quoted saying.
The Federation has 999 milk producing cooperative societies with 42,587 farmers directly associated with them. According to Dugga, Devbhog milk products are being supplied to customers via home delivery.
