NCUI President and Kribhco Chairman Chandra Pal Singh Yadav is believed to have avoided visiting NCUI’s headquarters located in Asiad Village on Khel gaon Marg in Delhi on the eve of the IFFCO AGM, according to sources.
Chandra Pal was very much in Delhi on Tuesday after returning from Shimla where he had gone to attend an NCCT programme but he did not come to the NCUI headquarters. He was in the town on the day of the IFFCO AGM on Wednesday but he preferred to avoid coming to the office.
Instead he called for important files at his home only, added the source. It is being said that IFFCO did not invite him for the AGM due to which he thought it fit not to go to his office where proceedings of the IFFCO AGM were in progress.
Strangely enough, his son Yash Pal not only participated in the IFFCO AGM but was also received warmly by the Chairman and the MD. Later, talking to Indian Cooperative he spoke in the praise of IFFCO.
Another of Chandra Pal loyalist Sunil Kumar Singh who was invited as Special Guest by IFFCO said to Indian Cooperative “I am not attending because my leader Chandra Pal Singh has not been invited”.
I am a great admirer of Awasthiji but at times one has to maintain the protocol and I thought it fit not to attend the AGM. Incidentally, Biscomaun sells IFFCO urea while he himself is on the board of Kribhco- a situation unheard of in the cooperative circles.
