Surendra Kumar Joshi, the CEO of Durg Central Cooperative Bank, based in Chhattisgarh, has been suspended following allegations that he showed favouritism toward a particular party during the elections.
The suspension came after a complaint was lodged, prompting the Durg Collector to form a three-member district-level investigation committee.
Upon investigation, the complaint was substantiated. Allegations suggest that Joshi, in his capacity as CEO of the District Cooperative Bank, was involved in partisan activities during the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections.
