Like many corporates, cooperative bodies have also begun using Zoom app for their meetings. Campco, the chocolate co-operative from Dakshina Kannada is already making use of the app, reports Hindu.
SR Satishchandra, President of Campco said he would soon use the app to address the grower-members of the cooperative and hold meetings with the members of the board of directors.
According to the Campco president, this is an easy and effective mode of communication.
Sources say virtual meetings will greatly help cooperatives do their essential business at the time when the nation is under lock down.
