Cooperators from across the country are assembling together at the premises of the apex body of cooperatives, NCUI to attend different meetings lined up for today (Wednesday). Speaking about the GC meeting, NCUI President Dileep Sanghani said that it’s going to be a routine meeting.
Apart from attending the governing council meeting of NCUI, cooperators representing different state cooperative unions will attend a meeting aimed to achieve the goal of formation and promotion of new co-ops in the sector of PACS, Dairy and Fisheries and expansion of new cooperative education field projects.
The meeting will be organized in the boardroom of NCUI at 2:00 PM.
The letter issued to Chairmen, MDs/CEOs of state co-operative unions, NCDFI, Fishcopfed and Nafscob reads, “As you are kindly aware that the new Ministry of Cooperation is created at the centre in the year 2021. The ministry is focusing on expansion and the strengthening of the cooperative sector in the country”.
“In order to achieve the goal of formation and promotion of new cooperatives in the sectors of PACS, Dairy and Fisheries and expansion of new Cooperative Education Field Projects, it is important for the NCUI to consult our esteemed members, especially State Cooperative Unions and concerned National Federations”, the letter reads.
It further added, “Therefore, the President of NCUI, Shri Dileep Sanghani ji has desired to call for a meeting of the Chairman and Chief Executive/Managing Directors of all State Cooperative Unions and concerned federations on 28 December, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the BoardRoom of NCUI, New Delhi.
“Keeping in view the importance of the subject, you are requested to kindly attend this meeting in person. In case you are unable to attend, you may kindly depute one of the senior officers of your organisation to attend”, the letter concludes which is signed by NCUI Deputy CE Savitri Singh.
