Budget: Bajaj hails crop loan at 0%

Chhattisgarh Apex Cooperative Bank President Ashok Bajaj hailed the annual state budget 2017-18 which was presented by Chief Minister Raman Singh in the state assembly on Monday.

In a press release sent to Indian Cooperative, Apex bank president said the budget is balanced and in the interest of all sections of society.

He further said the important point which impressed me is that the short term crop loans to farmers will be disbursed at zero percent interest rate and will also promote the organic farming in the state.

The Chief Minister said the third supplementary budget includes estimated planned expenditures of nearly Rs 818 crore, non planned expenditures of Rs 432 crore, capital expenditures of Rs 586 crores, Revenue expenditures of Rs 664 crores.
