According to the PTI reports, Union Minister V Muraleedharan took a dim view of Kerala ruling CPI (M)’s claim that the inquiry into the Karuvannur bank swindle of Rs.150 crore is a move by the central govt to harm the Cooperative sector of the state.
According to the union minister, the chief minister, his colleagues in the govt. and his party functionaries are busy defending fraudsters.
The union minister also wondered if Moideen the CPM leader is not involved in irregularities, why he refuses to face the Enforcement Directorate..
