Addressing a rally in Nashik NCP chief Sharad Pawar told people to change both the state and Union government at an opportune time as they were not anti-farmers.
Pawar was attending halla bol’ movement. He said the state’s farm loan waiver scheme turned out to be “cheating” and “fake” and added that agricultural production was going down while farmer suicides were rising, reports PTI.
Pawar was also critical of the government acquiring agricultural land for development projects.
He also criticized demonetisation move and said the govt failed to replace old notes of co-op banks.
