The coming election in the Paivalike Service Cooperative Bank in Kerala is an eye-popping story with the Communist Party of India (CPI) joining hands with its ideological opposite Bharatiya Janata Party, reports The Hindu.
The strange development has caused tongues wagging in political circles. The bank is governed by a United Democratic Front (UDF)-Left Democratic Front (LDF) alliance, of which the CPI too is a part.
Some local cooperators have described the CPI and the BJP coming together as an interesting development.
