Sahakar Bharati leaders remember their founder Late Laxmanrao Inamdar on his birthday on Monday. Inamdar was instrumental in the formation of Sahakar Bharati in 1979.The workers of Sahakar Bharati participated in various programs organized at Mumbai, Delhi, Amritsar and other places.
Talking to Indian Cooperative, Sahakar Bharati President Ramesh Vaidya said, “Earlier we had decided to organize different events but due to Covid-19 we failed to organize one big special event to remember Inamdarji on his birthday”, he added.
“But workers of Sahakar Bharati have organized small scale events in their respective states. In Mumbai Sahakar Bharati National Organizing secretary Sanjay Pachpor attended the function”, he informed.
Remembering Shri Inamdar, Sahakar Bharati Patron Jyotindra Mehta wrote on his Facebook wall, “Best regards to Sahakar Bharati founder Respected Late Laxmanrao Inamdar”.
All the major co-operative bodies in the country are involved in one way or another in honouring a man who coined an incredible slogan “Bina Sanskar Nahi Sahakar”.
Readers would recall that on Late Shri Inamdar’s birth centenary in 2017, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had addressed co-operators in Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.
