Bihar State Cooperative Bank organized its 74th Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, in which state cooperative minister Surendra Yadav was the chief guest.
The bank earned a net profit to the tune of Rs 76.15 crore as on 31st March 2023, registering a slight decrease in comparison to previous year i.e. 2021-22. Earlier, it was Rs 77.97 crore. The bank is headed by Ramesh Chaubey, who was recently re-elected as the Chairman for another term.
During the 2022-23 FY, the deposits of the bank grew from Rs 1,307 crore to Rs 1,447 crore whereas borrowings rose from Rs 4,362 crore to Rs 6,313 crore. The gross and net NPA of the bank stood at 2.16 percent and 1.42 percent as on 31st March 2023. The CRAR stood at 48.87 percent.
On this occasion, Bihar State Cooperative Bank felicitated three best performing DCCBs of the state which included, Ara, Gopalganj and Vaishali DCCBs.
The meeting was attended by Biscomaun Chairman Dr Sunil Kumar Singh, among others.
