The 39th AGM of Kribhco also saw assertion of Bihari pride as a large number of co-operators from the state made it a point to join the show. They were hailing the man-Sunil Singh- who have helped them capture centre-stage on the national cooperative scene.
Seating in the front rows, these co-operators rushed to the stage as soon as Sunil from the dais gave the signal to come that their time has come. The team led by Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh felicitated Kribhco Chairman Chandra Pal Singh on various achievements of the fertilizer cooperative.
Besides a shawl and a memento, Yadav was presented with the famed Madhuvani painting on the occasion. A group photograph was organized to bring finality to the event.
All the while, another cooperative stalwart from the state-Vishal Singh, sitting in the first row was watching the proceedings with amused expression. Readers may like to know that the two Singhs-Sunil and Vishal represent the two poles of cooperative politics in the state. While marketing co-op federation is being monopolized by Sunil Singh, Vishal has been able to have a grip on the state co-op union.
Coming to the AGM function, those present with Sunil Singh in felicitating Chandra Pal included Bihar State Cooperative Bank Chairman Ramesh Chandra Chaubey, Gopalganj Central Cooperative Bank Chairman Mahesh Rai, Ara Central Cooperative Bank, Chairman, Satyendra Narain, Biscomaun Vice-Chairman Gopal Giri, Samastipur Central Cooperative Bank, Vice-Chairman, Ramkalewar Singh, Vinay Kumar, Ram Vishnu Singh and many others greeted Yadav on the occasion.
