The vigilance people caught red handed the Aurangabad District Cooperative Officer (DCO) , general manager of Integrated Cooperative Development Project (ICDP), and an office assistant of ICDP, accepting bribes of Rs1.5 lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively in Aurangabad district in Bihar, PTI quoting a vigilance release.
The bribes were being taken for clearing a payment for construction of a rice mill in Ankorha panchayat to the complainant, the release said.
A resident of Ankorha village and also the chairman of Vyapar Mandal, Daudnagar, had lodged a complaint with the vigilance bureau.
