Pioneer reports Department of Cooperation in Bihar govt has gone digital in order to meet the challenge posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
A source close to the cooperative dept says, the dept is made into an e-office so as to liberate it from gross files that could be a potential source of the corona infection.
The coop. dept is the first govt dept in Bihar that has become paperless. There were around more than 9,000 files having around 10 lakh documents to be scanned.
Apart from ensuring speed, accuracy and accountability, the technological change leading to paperlessness will enable the dept to contribute into making the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Mission as announced by the Bihar govt a success as well.
