Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat unveiled the 2025 New Year calendar of the Maharashtra-based Nagpur Nagrik Sahakari Bank last week at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur.
The bank, known for publishing calendars that promote awareness on social and economic issues, has dedicated this year’s edition to commemorating the centenary celebrations of the RSS.
The calendar highlights significant landmarks associated with the RSS, such as the first headquarters at Mohite Darwaza, the residence of RSS founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, his ideological contributions, the memorial site of Shri Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar (Guruji), and the Smriti Mandir at Reshimbagh.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Bhagwat emphasized the widespread impact of RSS volunteers across various sectors of society, noting that their dedication and values inspire others to follow their example. He also stressed the growing responsibilities of RSS volunteers as they continue to serve as role models within the community.
The program began with a welcome address by the bank’s Chairman, Prof. Sanjay Bhende, who introduced the board members and shared insights about the bank’s initiatives.
The ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Directors Ashok Agarwal, Girish Vyas, Tushar Dable, Ravindra Bokare, Sanjay Thakar, as well as the bank’s Chief Executive Officer Shri Ashutosh Pathak, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Rajesh Edalabadkar, Officer Abhay Agnihotri, and other dignitaries.
