In a bid to assist flood-affected victims, Telangana-based Bhadradri Co-operative Urban Bank distributed grocery items to needy families in Bokkalagadda Colony, Khammam town, at a cost of Rs 7 lakh.
The Bank Chairman Cherukuri Krishnamurthy, Vice-Chairman Pratap, Managing Director Venugopal, and others distributed rice and other essential food items to help the flood victims.
“It is our duty to support the many helpless people who have been impacted by the floods. We are proud that our bank is moving forward not only in business but also in people’s welfare,” said the bank Chairman.
Meanwhile, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas in Khammam district and expressed deep concern for the farmers impacted by the heavy rains.
