The Network for the Development of Agricultural Cooperatives in Asia and the Pacific (NEDAC), which is headed by the NCDC MD Pankaj Bansal, is organizing an international workshop in Thailand.
The workshop on “Agricultural Cooperatives and Food Security” will be organized from July 7 – 10, 2024 at NEDAC Training Centre Bangkok (NTCB).
This workshop aims to generate insights, foster collaboration, and catalyze action towards leveraging agricultural cooperatives as key actors in achieving food security goals.
The tentative agenda for the workshop is enhancing agricultural cooperatives for better contribution to global food security, engaging panel discussions and visits to cooperative organizations in Thailand.
NEDAC is a unique regional platform connecting 21 top cooperative organizations across 12 countries. It was established in 1991 by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Cooperative Coalition (ICA) and International Labor Organization (ILO).
