Punjab and Maharashtra Cooperative Bank has launched a new facility named ‘IMPS at Branch’ in which some of the banking facilities would be available also on Sundays and holidays.
This service is available not only for existing customers but also for non-customers such as Walk-In-Customers, says a release sent by the UCB.
According to the press release from PMC Bank, “Any individual will be able to remit funds instantly using IMPS service at the branch. ‘IMPS at Branch’ can be carried out even after closure of NEFT timings, Sundays and even on holidays since PMC Bank offers 360 days banking service.
“This facility is available for remittance through cash up to certain amount and as well as transfer from the account of the customer”, it further reads.
The advantages of this service are, “Along with normal Banking hours, it is available on Saturdays, Sundays & Public holidays when PMC branches are working. Fund transfer takes place instantly faster than NEFT/RTGS.
PMC bank is a Multi-State Scheduled Urban Co-operative Bank with its areas of operations in Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Goa, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
