In order to help the government fight against the coronavirus pandemic, Chhattisgarh based Balod District Cooperative Union has contributed a sum of Rs 1,29,390 towards the CM Relief fund.
The cheque was jointly handed over by Balod District Cooperative Union Vice-Chairman Bhuwanlal Sahu and Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Union Chairman Jhunmun Gupta to Ranu Shahu, Balod District Collector last week.
Employees associated with the cooperative organizations in India are contributing their one day’s salary but Balod District Co-op Employees Union donated their half month salary.
The contribution consisted of 1 lakh rupees from the Balod District Coop Union and Rs 29,390 from the employees from their half month salary.
