Azad represents Civil Society at G20 Summit in Brazil

Dr. Nandini Azad, President of the Working Women’s Forum (India) and the Indian Cooperative Network for Women, delivered a keynote address at the inaugural ceremony of the G20 Social Summit on November 14, 2024, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Sharing the stage were prominent leaders, including Brazil’s Foreign Minister, First Lady Madam Jaja Lula, and officials from Brazil’s Ministry of Culture, Women, and the President’s office, alongside the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro.

Dr Azad narrated the success stories of Indian cooperative movement in general and that of WWF and ICNF in particular. She is also a member of the oldest cooperative in the world- International Raiffeisen Union (IRU) Board.
