During the conference on holistic development of agriculture and allied sectors culminating in Jammu and Kashmir, IFFCO Managing Director stressed on the importance of Nano Urea in the fields of farmers and called it a game changer.
The conference was attended by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary, Prof Nazir Ahmad Ganai, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST and others.
Awasthi further said that the newly developed Nano Urea would not only reduce the storage space but also save the farmers money.
It will reduce the subsidy burden of the government, even if the price of urea increases in the international market. It will also reduce the urea import and make farmers self-reliant,” Awasthi added.
