Winding up his trip to IFFCO Phulpur Managing Director Dr US Awasthi landed in Varanasi and participated in a huge gathering of farmers telling them on the perils of excessive use of urea. Awasthi underlined the issue of maintaining soil health for the future of farmers and the country.
Tweeting about his meeting with the farmers he said “Attended#Farmers & #Cooperators meet in #Varanasi. Interacted with farmers & informed them about #Soil Health”.
MD also met a few top notch cooperators of the area including an IFFCO Director on the occasion. Posing with them along with his wife Mrs Rekha Awasthi for a photograph which was later posted on twitter he said ”A group photographic memory with #Cooperators from #Varanasi before leaving for#Delhi.”
Earlier in Phulpur Awasthi interacted with security personnel and said safety and security are on top priorities for any viable concern. He also interacted with union people by visiting them in their office in Phulpur.
Landing in Delhi MD is preparing for the upcoming event of Sri Lal Shukla IFFCO Literary Award ceremony. The programme is scheduled to take place coming Sunday at Kamayani Auditorium in Delhi.
