The Sentinel reports Arunachal Pradesh Government has signed an MoU with NABARD to implement the Agri Start-up Scheme.
Under the scheme, the state government will provide additional top-up capital subsidy to agriculture and allied graduates and diploma holders of the State.
A Nabard press release informs additional top-up capital subsidy of 25 per cent of the project outlay over and above 44 per cent already available under the Agri-Clinics and Agri-Business Centers (ACABC) scheme of the Central govt. will be admissible to eligible beneficiaries for the establishment of units as per list. .
The operational period of the scheme will be for five years from 2020-21, with a total layout of Rs 500 lakh.
