In a bid to support flood-affected victims, the Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Urban Banks and Credit Societies Federation (APCUBF) donated Rs 53.65 lakh to the AP CM Relief Fund for flood relief.
The donation cheque was handed over to the State Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati by Ex-MP and APCUBF President Chitturi Ravindra last week. On the occasion, Federation Vice-President Abdul Jeelani, Secretary and VCBL Chairman Chalasani Raghavendra Rao, and other APCUBF members were also present.
Of the total contribution, the major portion came from the Visakhapatnam Cooperative Bank Ltd (VCBL), which donated Rs 25.00 lakh. Kakinada Town Cooperative Bank and Kanakmahalakshmi Cooperative Bank contributed Rs 12 lakh and Rs 10 lakh, respectively.
Additionally, Jampeta Cooperative Bank contributed Rs 2 lakh, while Eluru Cooperative Bank and Madanapalle Cooperative Town Bank each donated Rs 1 lakh.
Other contributing banks included Vani Cooperative Bank, Innispeta Cooperative Urban Bank, Hindustan Shipyard Staff Cooperative Bank, Gooty Cooperative Bank, Chankyamma Cooperative Society, and Repalle Cooperative Bank.
