Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Central Banks Employees’ Association (APCCBEA) recently held a protest, calling for the implementation of a two-tier system for cooperative banks in Andhra Pradesh, reports Hindu.
Addressing the protesters on this occasion, APCCBEA general secretary K.V.S. Ravi Kumar said the implementation of a two-tier system would help banks perform better.
The general secretary mentioned the problems the reorganization of districts in the State had created for cooperative banks. He revealed that necessary representations have been submitted to the Chief Minister and other authorities concerned.
