Andhra Pradesh State Agricultural Cooperative Employees Union protested the govt’s lack of concern about their charter of demands by donating blood, reports Hindu.
The unusual protest led by the union’s district president P.Hanumantha Rao aimed to remind the govt. of their demands such as pay hike, job security, increase in retirement age to 60 years from 58 years and hike in gratuity to Rs. 5 lakh from Rs2 lakh.
Sources say the protest out of the ordinary will definitely exert pressure on the govt. to do the needful.
