Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Andhra Pradesh has recently taken into custody the Deputy Registrar and Divisional Cooperative Officer for Visakhapatnam for taking a bribe from a housing society, reports Hindu.
The accused was demanding a piece of land as a bribe. The plot was valued at Rs 49. 93 lakh.
The accused was caught in the act when the plot was being registered in the name of his brother.
